Dyeable Shoes:
As our name implies we are experts when it comes to custom dyeing shoes. It
will be necessary for you to furnish us with either one of the following,
(1.) the color of the gown or (2.) mail us a swatch.In recent weeks we have found that many companies have changed their dye lots from the swatches they originally furnished us. We prefer to have you send us a swatch, if you can not we will do our best. We also suggest going to a paint store and get a matching color chip.
Please use the comment section of the order form to note what you intend to do, if you are mailing a swatch, a color chip, or leaving it up to us.
It is important that you understand as stated in our RETURN POLICY dyed shoes
are not returnable. Please allow up to one extra week to receive your shoes.
Dyed footwear can look different from indoors to outdoors due to the ultra
violet rays outdoors. Products dyed peach, beige, or taupe will look pinkish
outdoors. Those dyed gray (silver) can look purplish outdoors. Colors change in different
light settings due to the fabric being dyed depending if you look at them under incadescent lighting or flourescent lighting.
The dye used on your footwear is water-soluble. The dye can bleed or stain if
it is exposed to water or heavy moisture. This can be prevented by using a water
repellent spray. This is the best protection against staining, but it will not
necessarily make the footwear waterproof. If you do spray your footwear you will
not be able to re-dye them.
